Sept. 27, 2003, Plaintiff F-64 was traveling southbound on Route 83 near Route 171 in Lemont when a green minivan pulled out of a driveway to her right directly in front of her, causing her to brake suddenly and stop. Plaintiff claimed she was stopped when nortbound Defendant lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and hit her head on, causing injury to neck, back and knees, two hospitalizations for potential cardiac problems, and permanent injury to right knee ($11,000 medl., $3,000 LT as manager).
